Canny Brow Barn – Garden Rooms

To be honest I don’t even know how to start this review. Our stay at cannybrowbarn was just everything!!!! The house was beautiful and very clean. The bathrooms, bedrooms and living room were stunning and spotless. Even though their was 8 of us, the kitchen hosted everyone so easily. That’s where we spent most of our time because we could look out to the garden and fields. THE HOT TUB!!!!! Worth every single penny! The host put up a large umbrella situated over the hot tub which was amazing because we could use it in the rain. Anything you could ever think of which you would want in a house was there. The host even helped us start one of our cars which had a flat battery. Honestly just loved and would definitely go back

My friends and I enjoyed a spectacular stay at Canny Brow Barn in August 2020. The house is extremely well equipped – Ian and Anne-Marie have thought about every little detail. The house is beautiful as are the grounds. We made great use of the hot tub and relaxed at the house for most of the weekend. We decided to Kayak on the canal just a short drive away and Ian was kind enough to lend us one of his kayaks too. I will definitely be with friends but I also intend to visit with my husband and 3 children. It’s a perfect location, lovely and quiet but only a short drive from the rest of the Lake District. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Ian and Anne-Marie.

All I can say is wow, what a place! By far one of the most beautiful places for a staycation. The accommodation is stunning and spotless and the views are incredible. Ian and Anne-Marie have thought of everything from the games cupboard, sun loungers, and outdoor games, to the hand written walking routes which are all direct from the barn. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return next year! Thank you.

Celebrated my 50th birthday here in August 2021, what a fabulous Barn Conversion this is, the house has everything that you need, washer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, 2 bathrooms, comfy beds, i could go on and on. We had warm Cinnamon swirls that had been freshly baked by the owners Ian and Ann- marie, on arrival, the house had also been trimmed up by some of my sneaky friends, before i arrived, such a lovely thought. The Host cannot do enough for you and there is nothing that they have not thought of. We hired the Hot tub for the weekend and i must say, this was the best hot tub by far that i have been in, the tub stays warm for the whole time you are in it, The host also cleaned this for us on a daily basis. I cannot wait to have some time here again and will definitely re book this property. Definitely 10 out of 10

What an amazing stay! Me and my group had the best time at Canny Brow Barn and will definitely be staying again! The hot tub is MASSIVE and comfortably fit 8 of us in, definitely worth paying extra to use it. Ian was the most attentive host and came to our rescue to put the brolly up over the hot tub when we needed it. The barn had lots of board games for the cold evenings next to the gorgeous fire. Everything was super clean, great views, can’t fault anything. We just loved every minute! Thank you

We had an amazing time at the Canny Brow Barn! The house was clean and well laid out for a big group. The garden and views were just spectacular. Great place for a bbq! It was also a really good location for exploring the southern lakes.
